Votz.in : Simply vote on anything in real time on any device.
Here at oodlü we get involved in rather a lot of things both inside and outside our core software / company. Dougi's been involved with the fantastic http://lyricalkomb.at/ building a super simple little real-time voting app called votz.in which enables you to quickly and easily vote on anything in real time on any device for free. We felt this would be a very useful tool in your classroom, hence this post.
It's designed intentionally to be easy to use and so is really very simple. If you are running a vote then you just tap "Create a vote". A 4-digit join code is created and displayed.
Players just visit votz.in on any device and tap "Join a vote".
You can set up votes for as many or as few options as you like and change what the options are labelled as. And that's it!
Responses are displayed to all users with icons on the left for 1st, 2nd, 3rd positions.

Click on "New vote" and the data is erased immediately and you create your next vote. Rinse and repeat!
We'll be including this as an app within the oodlü platform too over the coming weeks, so watch this space.
Santa Cruize Christmas game released
We get a bit excited around Christmas time here in Scotland. So we thought we'd build a little game to celebrate the end of the year and for a little light hearted fun.
So we have released "Santa Cruize". You can still play this with any Question Collection you like, so feel free to create your own Christmassy content to play with your students!
