Blocs game developed with University of Surrey released!

We're very excited about this one! Today we are delighted to be able to be releasing the new Blocs game!

Blocs has been developed alongside University of Surrey for practising and recording spatial ability. Questions in this format be created as with all other oodlü question types, but Blocs can also be played in "freeform mode" in the "Other Stuff" area of oodlu.

Find out more about the project on their project website.

Here is an overview of how it works:

We very much look forward to hearing how you get on with Blocs.

You can try the public version here: https://oodlu.org/share-app/blocs

We've just added a new Score Board app to oodlu!

This is a super simple one, but we hope it will be fun for you and your students.  We have just added a new app to the "Other Stuff" area of oodlu.org.

It simply enables you to create a Score Board, add / remove students and assign scores to them.

Try the public version here: https://oodlu.org/share-app/ScoreBoards

Please note that you can save data and have multiple Score Boards if you log into your account and use the Score Boards app from the "Other Stuff" area of oodlu.org.  So that's well worth doing!

The amazing Votz.in is now on oodü

Today we are delighted to have added the fantastically useful votz.in app to the Other Stuff area of https://oodlu.org/.

You can try it directly here.

As a teacher you just go to the Other Stuff area on https://oodlu.org/ and click the VotzIn icon.  You will then see this screen

That takes you to this screen:

You ask students to visit votz.in and select "Join a vote".  They enter the code and that links them to the vote.

You can then just add questions on the fly for them to vote on.  Or to keep it simple just use the default options and agree in the classroom what they mean.

Why not start a class discussion?  How about using it as part of your real-world in-class activities?
